Launch success of JCSAT-12 at Japan! The Ariane-5 rocket equipped with JCSAT-12 of Japan and Optus-D3 of Australia was launched by 2009/08/21. Two satellites were turned on to a prescribed orbit respectively, and the launch succeeded.
This satellite are 12Ku tps and 30C tpswill replace JCSAT-R(129°E,preliminary satellite)

The Shigeo Fukuchi chairman of NHK abolished BS-HiVition in the other day's regular interview among the satellite digital broadcasting in 2011, and clarified the idea of adjusting the two channels.
